STORE POLICY

With online shopping, honesty is the best policy. That’s why I designed the most generous, fair and transparent store policy for my customers.


Read the following sections to find out more about postage, what to do if you have a problem and how I handle your data.

PRIVACY POLICY

Your Data is Secure

Security and making sure that you and your information are safe is of the upmost importance. So here are answers to some questions you may have.

What do you need my information for?

Any information gathered will be to keep you up to date with my work, any sales, offers and events via an e-newsletter or will be connected to a sale or commission.

What information will I be asked for?

You will only ever be asked to provide information that is genuinely needed, for example, your name and email address for the newsletter. Your name, postal address, email address, payment details and any order details when placing an order. A phone number will be taken regarding an order if consent is given and will only be used to contact you regarding said order.

Payment details will only be taken using secure and trusted methods. If placing an order in person, any electronic payment will be done via PayPal to ensure your security. If payment is taken in person a method will be agreed and any concerns discussed and resolutions stated in writing.

Your information will not be sent to any third party unless necessary, and consent will be obtained.

How will my information be collected?

Information gathered electronically will only be collected  an online stockist, Paypal and via the sign up box on the website. When you sign up to receive the e-newsletter you will be sent an initial email to confirm your consent and give details about how your data will be used and handled

If any other information is needed or by any other method you will be contacted via a predetermined method (usually via email) so that full consent can be given.


How long will you keep my information for?

You have the right to request your information be deleted at any point or request that you wish to change your information. You have complete control over how long your information is kept for and what data that is.

Any information collected regarding an order is kept for up to one month after the order is placed so that if there is an issue with the order it can easily be resolved. Any information after that period that is not needed will be disposed of in an appropriate manor.

You will be sent an email every year/two years asking if you still wish to receive news from me. If confirmation of consent isn’t given you will automatically be taken off the database, the same goes if you opt to stop receiving emails.


Who is in charge of my information and how is it kept safe?

That would be myself. As a sole trader I am the only person with access to your information be it electronically or physically.

I am registered with the ICO (the Information Commissioners Office) and will be kept up to date with any changes regarding data protection. My website also has an SSL certificate to make sure your information is safe.

 If in the event someone else is handling your information you will be notified and said person will be trained to comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

What about data collected when taking part in your tutoring sessions or workshops?

Regarding tutoring and workshops, there will be basic form that will be signed by participants and myself. A copy will also be for you to keep.

This is predominantly to express your consent to the event. The form will also discuss consent to have photographs taken and if you wish to remain anonymous if asked to give feedback. You will also have the option to give consent for your information to be used for the e-newsletter and any other emails regarding future events/workshops if you haven’t already.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

How It Works

All packages are sent via Royal Mail. Standard delivery is £4 and signed for is £6.50. Standard and tracked delivery will take between 3 and 5 days. If you require special delivery, there will be an option to add this to your order.

I also offer free postage on orders over £50.

Every order is safely packaged to make sure it gets to you in one piece. I also do my best to make sure that my packaging is recyclable or reuseable.

RETURNS POLICY

How It Works

I want to make sure that you're happy, so if there is an issue with your order, please get in touch as soon as possible.

You have 30 days after the date of purchase to let me know that you have a problem. From there we can work together to figure out the best way to resolve the issue.

​

Please note that I don't accept returns on earrings due to health and safety issues.

​

Gift and workshop vouchers are non-refundable unless under extreme circumstances.
